Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Gospel: Mt 13:1-23

“But as for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty (NRSV, Mt 13:23).”

Father, Your Word, spoken once and for all to everyone in every situation, is the perpetual sower who never fails to plant his seed. May we ever be responsive in every moment to his divine action that through him we may accept the the gift of life in the Holy Spirit and grow constantly in that life as we journey toward you, Father, who are our one and true future.
